We safeguard essential services like energy, water, transportation, and communication networks from cyber threats. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cyber Security Field Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect critical infrastructure from cyber threats. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, a proactive approach to threat mitigation, and a commitment to staying updated with the latest security trends and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and reactive maintenance for network and IT/OT infrastructure.
  • Develop and update maintenance and testing procedure documents for critical IT/server infrastructure.
  • Offer specialized guidance to network architects and contribute to the design and implementation of network security controls and upgrades.
  • Provide technical support to service operational managers and technicians on cybersecurity and integration-related inquiries.
  • Provide operational support for various cybersecurity tools, including ongoing tuning and enhancements.
  • Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents to determine cause and impact.
  • Implement and manage security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption solutions.
  • Undertake routine patching and configuration tasks to ensure system security and integrity.
  • Stay current with evolving cyber-attack tactics, techniques, and procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Cyber Security Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Certificate Authentication, Group Policy, Active Directory, LDAP/s, KERBEROS, RADIUS, Incident Response, Change Management, and Risk Management.
  • Proficiency with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS).
  • Experience with risk assessment and vulnerability management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A master’s degree is a plus.
  • Familiarity with standards such as IEC62443, ISO9001, ISO27001, and NIST.
