We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cyber Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect critical infrastructure from cyber threats. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, a proactive approach to threat mitigation, and a commitment to staying updated with the latest security trends and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implementation of various Automation Systems, Safety Systems, and Package system Networks and Interfaces.
- Execution of Cybersecurity and cybersecurity transformation projects, including network/cybersecurity configuration (Switches, Firewall, WAF, IDS, etc.).
- Perform hardening related to solutions based on frameworks like CIS.
- Proficient in both Hyper-V, VMware and other virtualization deployments.
- Implement cybersecurity solutions such as Advanced Microsoft Windows Active Directory and RADIUS.
- Manage Endpoint Protection Implementation (McAfee ePO, DLP, Application Control).
- Deploy detection solutions like Log Management, SIEM, and SOC.
- Administer Backup and Restore solutions such as Veritas and Acronis.
- Oversee Patch Management, including WSUS implementation.
- Proficient in preparation, review, and approval of engineering and construction documents.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cyber Security Engineer or in a similar role.
- Experience in configuring, deploying, and maintaining Active Directory functions and security tools (firewalls, routers, switches, IDS/IPS, patch management, antivirus software).
- Confident, creative, and curious about new and varied technologies.
- Strong execution skills with a structured problem-solving approach.
- Effective communicator with great interpersonal skills and the ability to be credible with clients.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated creativity in complex problem-solving and ability to work under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
- A master’s degree is a plus.
- Active certifications are a plus (CISSP, IEC-62443 Expert, etc.).
